13/3/2017 - Expressions of interest being invited for 2017 Grass Cutting Contracts

Expressions of interest are being sought from competent Grass Cutting/Landscaping Contractors for grass cutting contracts at the following locations:

 

  • Donegal Town
  • Ballyshannon
  • Bundoran (Bypass)
  • Pettigoe
  • Killybegs

 

Contractors should respond in writing to Donegal County Council Roads Office, Public Services Centre, Drumlonagher, Donegal Town clearly stating which area/s they wish to tender for, on or before Monday 20th March 2017

 

Tenderers will be required to provide the following information as part of any tender submitted.

 

  • Safety & Health Policy Statement.
  • Evidence that the Company has the following Insurance Indemnities
  • Employers Liability (€12,700,000.00 minimum limit of Indemnity)
  • Public Liability (€6,350,000.00 minimum limit of Indemnity)

 

Contractors should be competent in preparing site-specific risk assessments and traffic management plans in accordance with current legislation. It will also be a requirement that all relevant persons have completed the CSCS Scheme 2013 Construction Regulations (The requirement to have CSCS card for Sign Lighting & Guarding).

 

It is also important to note that all records received in relation to the Tenders for Contract with Donegal County Council may be subject to requests under Freedom of Information Act 2014, including records of Contractors in relation to work carried out by them for the Council.  Further Information in relation to the implication of the Freedom of Information Act is available from the Council on request.
